The OFM is part of the Public Safety Division of the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General. Our primary function is to minimize the loss of life and property from fire by assisting Ontario municipalities and fire departments to improve their fire protection and fire prevention services. The OFM provides leadership within government and supports the fire service across the province to meet the needs of the community.
